The smoke is still clearing from this election and we are entering a reality that few of us thought was possible. We are in shock, fear, grief, rage, disbelief, and uncertainty. All of these feelings are real and all of us are searching to find our humanity and our way. Most importantly, now more than ever, we must take care of ourselves, our loved ones, our communities, and our principles and values. Our analysis, our strategy, our action, will settle and become clearer. Our courage will rise to the needs of this moment.
We want to continue to provide opportunities to express and develop our civic duty toward a more just world.

The most brilliant part of our work is in the community. Now, more than ever, we need to be in the community talking to people about their feelings, their views, and what they believe must be done and what they are willing to do in the face of very uncertain times. The political campaigns have gone home, we are still here. There is still work to be done. Join our canvass and volunteer efforts and get involved.
We thank all of the amazing people that stepped up through the long election cycle to get involved, many for the first time. I am hugely grateful to work in Florida with a team and a set of remarkable leaders who are building unity and compassion between Latinos, African Americans, Caribbean, and white allies who truly believe in a world that is home to all of us. Thank you to those who practice intersectional and transformational politics every moment, who in this crucial state have been building a movement that refuses to be put in silos, who affirm every day that we stick together and stick it out. Thank you so much for your heart and commitment and love. In this dangerous and uncertain times, it is these angel soldiers who stand up in the gap and secure humanity for all of us.
